We prioritize user trust, transparency, and data sovereignty. Sind SoundBox is architected as an on-device offline audio utility. It listens to payment notifications locally and speaks the receipt amount aloud, ensuring that none of your personal communications or financial metadata are ever harvested, recorded, or sent to external cloud servers.
Sind SoundBox (com.theocs.sindsoundbox) is an instant digital payment audio announcement application developed by THE OCS TECHNOLOGY. The application transforms any Android mobile device into a smart audio speaker / soundbox, announcing received UPI and digital payments aloud in Bengali (বাংলা), English, and Hindi (हिंदी). All notification parsing and voice announcement synthesis occur 100% locally on the device.
To function as an automated soundbox, the app requests Android's BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE permission. This permission is used strictly in real-time to detect payment receipts from supported digital payment platforms (such as PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM UPI, BharatPe, bKash, Nagad, and official Bank transaction SMS).
We practice absolute data privacy. Notification data (amount and sender name) is parsed instantaneously in memory on your device using local regular expression algorithms. No notification content, personal chat messages, OTPs, account balances, or financial records are EVER uploaded, transmitted to remote servers, or shared with third parties.
Sind SoundBox uses Android's native Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine and an on-device synthetic AudioTrack chime generator to produce crisp payment alerts. The app does NOT require, request, or use the microphone (RECORD_AUDIO). No voice or ambient room sound is ever captured or recorded.
Recent transaction records displayed on the app dashboard are saved strictly within your device's isolated local app storage (sandbox). This log exists solely so you can review receipts or replay announcements offline. You can clear this transaction log at any time with a single tap.
Sind SoundBox is completely free of third-party advertising SDKs (no AdMob), behavioral trackers, or data-broker telemetry. Your business payment flow remains strictly confidential.
You maintain complete sovereignty over the application. You can disable the notification listener at any time directly through Android Settings > Apps > Special App Access > Notification Access. Uninstalling the app permanently erases all local settings and history.
Sind SoundBox is an enterprise and merchant business utility intended for retail store owners and business operators aged 18 and older. It does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13.
